I met Jenna and Matt a while back and knew they’d be a fun couple from the start. They were so easy to talk to and genuinely excited about their plans for a romantic Cincinnati wedding in October. Also, we’re now officially ring twins and have eerily similar rocks. No complaints here! This girl’s got style 😉
For their engagement session, we wanted to hit a few spots that really meant something to them. With their wedding being in Cincinnati, we started out in OTR at Washington Park to find some cool nooks and crannies for killer shots. From there, we moved to the Center near the Westin Hotel since that’s their ceremony spot and hey, what better place to take your engagement photos and than where you’ll become husband and wife? (insert teary eyes here).
Our last stop was Ault Park. Now, if you know anything about me, it’s that I’m a sucker for this location. I’m all about getting tons of variety for my clients and this spot has a plethora of cool backdrops and romantic sunset light. ALSO, this just so happens to be the place where Matt proposed! He said he had initially planned to do it in the iconic pavilion, but being there on a weekend night, there was a huge wedding going on. With a quick change of plans, he kept walking Jenna around the park to find the perfect spot. At this point, Jenna says she “knew something was up”. The dead giveaway was their friend doing Mission Impossible moves through the open lawns because he was the “secret” photographer for the big moment.
Nonetheless, Matt popped the question and the rest is history.
October can’t come soon enough!!
Congrats, Jenna + Matt!
