But it wasn't always easy. For two years I juggled both a full-time graphic design position as well as shooting roughly 25 weddings a year. It was A LOT. I felt torn between loving my co-workers and the work I was doing at corporate but also feeling this desire to more completely serve my couples well with my wedding photography.

After I had my son in 2018, I knew I had to make the leap into full-time photography. I took the jump and haven't looked back since. I'm thankful everyday for this life I've been given and the opportunity to share in such stunning moments of my couples' lives over the years.

Having a business and being a mother have taught me so much. I realize now more than ever the importance of quality time spent with others, savoring those moments in life you can't relive, and treasuring every photograph I take with my loved ones. 

Photos are a huge part of my life and their importance is something that's hard to compare. Over the last few years, I've lost loved ones, celebrated amazing moments, and documented my little boy growing each day--and the images I have to remember these by are some of my favorite things I have on this earth.

I always emphasize this to my couples because photography really is that important. It's what you'll look back on when you've had a hard day, want to share stories with your grandchildren or need a good excuse to snuggle up with your honey and a glass of wine to reminisce.
