MEET anastasia

Although we’ve only just started our wedding planning process, I feel like I’ve learned a TON. It’s one thing to be on the vendor side of the equation, but being a bride gives me a whole new perspective on my photography business. I’ve been hunting for the perfect photographer since that’s my number one priority and I’ve seen some amazing new ways people are handling their business as well as some things that reinforce the way I’m currently operating.

First and foremost, this process has shown me what’s valuable and important to offer to my couples as a wedding photographer.

I’m always over here brainstorming new things to give my couples as part of their wedding day packages and my goal is to make your day as carefree and smooth as possible PLUS give you an amazing end product you’ll love for years to come. Not to mention, getting the most bang for your buck…Can I get an AMEN?

That’s why I now offer a few things as “standard” in my packages:

8 hours of coverage

This is typically the sweet spot for hours of coverage because it gives us plenty of time before AND after your ceremony to get all the best shots. Adding on hours before or after is always a plus, but definitely not necessary all the time.

2 photographers

I can never stress enough to my couples just how important a second photographer is. That’s why I offer this as a standard package element. I can absolutely cover your wedding on my own, but what a second photographer provides are those memorable candids, snapshots of dad crying, grandma getting her dance moves on and all the other little moments that happen while I focus on you guys and the main action. Ultimately, you’ll get a lot more images and have a fuller story of the day, which is always so much fun to look back on.

Professional Editing

All of the final images you receive will be color corrected, retouched as needed and edited consistently to match the style and vibe I’m known for. So, what you see on my website and social media is what you’ll get in your final images.

Private Online Gallery

Within 2 weeks of your wedding date, you’ll get that magical little ping in your inbox for the link to your custom gallery. It’s password protected but totally shareable as you like. Also, you can view, share, download, and order professional prints with the click of a button. How cool, right?

Full Print Release

Okay, boo. If I’ve learned one thing, it’s that a print release and high-resolution digital files are one of the most important things a photographer can offer. I’m not a “pressure-er” over here and want you guys to be able to enjoy all of your images exactly how you want to enjoy them. Of course the designer in me secretly hopes you’ll have a favorite image you’re dying to display on a crazy big canvas in your house, but I’m also realistic. You can take your images anywhere you like to to print them for you desk at work, family gifts or even to hang on your fridge. Just enjoy!

High-Resolution Digital Files

High-res ALWAYS. These are YOUR images and if you want to just share them on social media, great. Or, if you want to blow them up and print them, perfect. But that’s for you to decide. That’s why I always give my couples high-resolution digital files for them to download directly from their gallery.

Day-of Sneak Peeks

After the party ends, your friends go home and you’re spending the first few precious moments with your new spouse, you’ll get some instant sneak peeks via social media tags of your special night! Enjoy the first 5 or 6 fully-edited peeks into the day you just had while you prepare to leave for the honeymoon 🙂

Custom Timeline

Four weeks out from your wedding date, I’ll send you a timeline questionnaire that you will fill out with your locations, addresses and important phone numbers. If you need location suggestions or are struggling with timing everything out, I’ll take your answers and always compile it into a fully fleshed out timeline for you to review. Once we have all your details just so, you’ll approve the timeline and get an official copy to go over in our 2-week pre-wedding meeting.

Engagement Session

I think an engagement session is insanely important to getting even more amazing images on your wedding day. Not only will you get some beautiful pictures of you and your favorite human, but we’ll get to know each other and have a great time, too! I’ll walk you guys though poses and actions that you’ll do on your wedding so that way we take away at least some of the nerves away on the big day.

So that’s it guys! The main takeaway I hope you get from all this rambling is that I truly care about my couples and want to make sure they’re set up to get amazing images they’ll be free to enjoy for generations to come.

xoxo, Anastasia
